New Home Project

Shoshone County Housing has received approval for a HOME loan to be used as part of a financing package to acquire a piece of ground and to construct a single family residence.  A market study was completed as of February 2, 2012 showing the necessity for this project based on the aging inventory and condition of homes within Shoshone County.

Final selection of the site is pending but will be in the Silver Valley between Wallace and Kingston.

When complete, the home will be made available for sale to a family in Shoshone County whose income is at or below 80% area medium income.  If you or someone you know would like to see if you qualify to purchase this home, please call our office at (208)783-1342.
